To identify your model, check the etched code in the glass corner (usually the interior lower right of the fixed panel). The first three characters are the series; the next four are the production quarter. If the etch is worn, measure the frame depth from interior to exterior at the jamb, then the roller carriage width with the panel lifted slightly off the track. We carry both OEM ViewLux rollers and seals and quality aftermarket equivalents from C.R. Laurence; for impact-rated units, we specify OEM rollers because the stainless steel housings are weight-calibrated to the laminated glass mass. Non-impact VX-100 units accept either, and we will show you both options with the price difference on the written quote.

Signs Your ViewLux Sliding & Patio Doors Is Failing

• The panel drags or requires shoulder force to move. This usually means the tandem roller assembly has flat-spotted or the axle bearings have corroded from condensation in the track well.
